The E.M. Winston band instrument company was founded in 1980 by David Ginott. As President of his own school music retail stores, he avidly supported music education as well as school music programs throughout the world. His vision was to offer the best quality musical instruments at the most affordable prices. David relied upon input from educators and his staff for product improvements and was constantly designing and consulting with manufacturers to build the finest musical instruments that offer the best overall value to the performer. “We will always strive to find new and improved methods to refine the quality of our instruments”, said Ginott.
